Digital storytelling - Romania
Cultural Agora @Your Library
ANBPR, Replika and Jazzmontør are cooperating in this project to reach a massive goal. We are making four centers for digital storytelling, all with their crew of trainers, almost fifteen hundred digital stories and a theater play based on some of these stories.
We started the project in January 2015 and have already established workshops at the county libraries. Five hundred stories have been produced, trying to capture the spirit of Romania. Who are the Romanians today? What are they thinking about? Which songs are they singing for their kids? What do they believe? Who are their heroes? The project is sponsored by the EEA-grants under the headline intangible cultural heritage. I believe that peoples personal stories are the best way to capture contemporary intangible culture.
A website is on its way, and the project will be finished medio april 2016.

Digital storytelling - Lithuania
In Lithuania we are cooperating with Centre for Studies of the Culture and History of East European Jews on a large project on long lost site specific stories from the inter war period.
Today we are re-telling a lot of these stories and relaunching them through a project involving everything from augmented reality and technological aspects to historians, researchers and Jazzmontør methodology. The project is ongoing and will be released spring 2016.
We made a short movie on Haddal stave church, asking Hans and Kim about their thoughts on culture, preservation and heritage.
How is it to work on these buildings? Can the personal experiences from these two people tell us something about the importance of our cultural heritage? I think it can.
The work was commissioned by The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage
En god hånds verk - godt håndverk
We made a short movie on one of the Norwegian stave churches, the carpenters restoring it and tried to capture the feel on how it is to modify and repair a building that was built by the vikings.
Dar kjem dampen
Dar kjem dampen, a tune by an old Norwegian artist is Bergens national anthem. The tune is about a steamboat. At the Norwegian west coast steam boats were the main way of getting around, and has a place in the heart and soul of most people of there.
We made this little movie about the people using their spare time to fix these boats, to keep them floating and to have a talk with them on thoughts, reflections and views on coastal culture.
Salt, sea and love.
The movie was commissioned by The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.

The movie is a supplement to books in the training of staff at OUS.

Faith and belief
One of the few commercials we´ve made. This one is for a service Oslo University Hospital offers: talks with different religious authorities. If you want someone to talk to in a difficult situation they are here for you. We wanted to simply show their faces, so you could have a look.
Commissioned by Oslo University Hospital.

Point of insight
A dialogue box made for collecting peoples stories and reflections on an installation be Bill Viola.
We´ve been trying for a long time to figure out two things: how to capture the feeling of art, and how to collect peoples reflections in the shortest time possible. With this project we tried to do both things at the same time.
Different groups of people watched the movie and we guided them straight into a custom built box that recorded their reflections.
The project was supported by The Norwegian Cultural Council and got a price for best communicative act.
Our very first commercial and the first time we worked with the Ultima Festival, a festival for contemporary music.
The theme for the festival was craftsmanship, so we called up some old forester friends and asked them for help. They did.
Short movie for The Norwegian Media Authority.
We brought our custum built story collecting box to a teachers conference and asked them questions about digital judgement. The movie was used to kickstart a debate on digital judgement at big international conference.
Fourteen site specific short movies for Heritage Here. This is one of them. We made these movies to be used as a guide for travelers. Old viking sites, musk oxes, bird guides and relevant information about mountains, plants and animals are covered.
Heritage Here is a national effort to increase access to public information and local knowledge about culture and nature. Equipped with a smartphone or a tablet, everyone will gain access to relevant facts and stories about nature and culture at their location. This cross agency cooperation under The Ministry of local Government and Modernization, The Ministry of Climate and Environment, and The Ministry of Culture facilitates access to public databases. The contents can be used and developed by others for new services; by business, tourism and education.
